Looks great. Much better than my brick work.

What sort of bricks are those? I haven't seen them before.

The bricks are called fast wall bricks theyre used for all the internal walls over here in W.A because most houses are double brick over here. The last 2 rows are a different type of brick that why they look a bit different. I got them all for free to :) as they were all left overs from work.
Can you believe the builders put the left over bricks in the skip bins on site because it costs them more to move them to different sites than to just buy new ones. Pretty disgusting really considering how much pollution the brick works create just buy making them

Hey Muzza
The recesses are waterfalls you can see the pvc pipe cut in at the top i'm gonna have a separate small pump for that so i can run it when ever. I might put some nice stone in there for the water to ripple over

Cheers MatyH  If only I had read your first post again. Separate control on the waterfall is a good idea as it gets noisy. My system is 30m from the house and I can hear it running and my hearing is rooted.

Update
With the clear weather over the weekend i screeded off the pond floor to get it level and smooth.
The best part about it was i could finally pack away my cement mixer and start cleaning up some of the mess around the side of the house :headbang:
