update on the plants

Before I removed all the Swiss chard and some other plants in the system!!!! out of the system...
not enough nutrients for the bigger plants and so many plants' only have a few small fish in the system

a few photos of the mixed vegetable bed in soil and worm castings.
I used a toping of 20-25 mm of worm castings on top of sandy soil, not working the castings into the rest...I left on top. I have not done anything in fertilizing more than the castings...I have not yet taken the shade net of to get a better view or for anything else no maintenance. These photos are taken lifting shade net and then taking photo... using rain water only

the plants look a bit better....
last Sunday I added Again some seagro to my system water after noticing the water colour after adding last time....this time I did a test before adding.....big mistake... did a test in a 20 litre bucket filled with water and added drop by drop to see how the water colour changed....after 10-15 drops the water in the bucket looked ok.I have +-2000 litres of water in the aquaponic system and I added +-150-200ml to the water Monday morning walking past the system it did not smell good and when I lifted the tank cover I could not see the bottom of my tank or any of the fish... first reaction was dump some of the water witch I did. I dumped a bit less than half the water and slowly added rainwater back into the system. Now this is the second time I have bumped my head with seagro into the system. I have gone back to the old way of doing things....a little more work but has allways worked without problems for me...I say always...I hope I don't have to swallow those words, I will now brew worm tea and rather add the tea to the system water...simple and less risk and clear water...
I think..my opinion. I will still carry on using the sea grow to spray for the plants.
