allot if people have death fish in ibc system
this is the chemical had in my ibc tote when i buy it
its kinda off hard to get ibc here in aruba because alot off greedy people
they sell them over price
so i get these easy and they has chemicals pretty deathly even burn me when it hit my skin

so i cut it open like i want it to be and i buy 1 big bottle off clorox
and i wash them i scrub them with a new broom and drain it and let in 3 weeks in 100% sun
and every day i spray water on the inside and let it in sun

in both system i have
was the same type off chemicals in them and total lost off fish was 3 but i think it was other reason they die because the others was fighting with them and i pull them out off the system but there tail was all eat up

Not surprised... primary ingredient Sodium Hydroxide... Caustic Soda.... strongly corrosive....

With a combination of bleach... you're lucky that the fumes didn't knock you out... and your skin didn't peel off.. :D

there is allot off breeze here so it might have blow away the fumes :D

The line:
"Do not use for any purpose unless properly reconditioned" would put me off straight away.

my guess would be when someone says "dont use it for anything, at all, ever unless reconditioned" (which to my knowledge basically means a new plastic bottle), it wont be safe for fish or humans to touch from a little bit of rinsing and scrubbing.

i know but its running for more then 5 months with no problem yet all fish looks healthy they grow from 1 inch they are about 9 inch now

i would say the bottle of clorox and the scrubbing and the sun work good for me with 2 ibc tote's
