I have been planning this for awhile. First stage will be 720 feet squared of GB. Second stage will be the same as the first for a total of 1440 feet squared. Many hurdles to jump before its done. I am open to all comments good or bad. The video explains most points.

I'm starting to think round FT's, and excellent filters combined with floating rafts is the way to go for a commercial approach.

Also, welcome. I think you've picked a great location for your system; I wonder if you'll see much success with cash flow from that much space; unless you can find a niche in fresh herbs or speciality/rare plants... Or something.

Good luck!

Whoa!! 720 feet squared is about 12 acres!
Just yanking your chain... I know what you meant. Looks like a great spot to build.

Thanx!!! Yes it is small, I have to start someplace. I do have room for growth though. Depending how I set up expansions in the future, I think I could expand to about 4000 square feet of grow beds. Sales will determine growth.

We do grow some potatoes. The big area for that is south of me a bit. My area grows onions, sugar beets, corn and alfalfa. Like I said in vid, we are a small town in a farming area. I have a feeling sales will be my biggest challenge. I do have some help though. My retired fathers work was produce sales most his life. Of course that was semi truck loads going across the country, but its close enough and he likes to be involved.

Well, a 2' cubed box is 8 cubic feet while a 2 cubic foot box is much smaller. But your clubbed foot would still probably fit in it. :D
