Unless your pH is locking out trace elements.... iron would be the most likely...

In which case just add some chelated iron... (search forum for discussion of which sort)

AS your pH drops... and your plants begin to fruit/seed/flower... a Potassium boost is often beneficial...

You can achieve both pH buffering... and supplementation....with the Eco-Fungicide... Potassium BiCarbonate...

Alternate your pH buffering with Hydrated Lime (brickies lime)... Calcium Hydroxide... for a Calcium supplement...




Nope... just buy a whole bag... you can always repack it... and write "Aqua Pac" on it....

Dolomite is good and can be spread around your chook yard as well. Have never used brickies lime. Banana skins under your medium is also good for potassium.

Dolomite is crushed mineral rock, I use it in my sump when my PH goes down to bring it back up. Used in ground gardening to sweeten the soil and add missing minerals. i spread it around my chook yard every couple of months for the chooks to work it into soil. As I throw 90% of my grass clippings in the chook yard they break it down into a compost a foot deep in six months. The dolomite adds extra minerals and sweetness agains the chook crap.

Edit. Sorry did not realise you were talking about the banana skins, quite a few post on here about it.

Well there you go, my family goes through at least 4 bananas a day, at the moment they just go in the worm farm but might start planting them all over the garden and GB's now.



Am told the lime help break down the manure and also kills of lice if sprinkled over the perches and nesting areas.

I will start using dolomite also from now on, especially in my dirt garden.
