Use the Dutch Pots for herbs and some short strawberry towers to act as solids filters for the hydro trays.... run down ballistrade to make picking of herbs easy ....

Another grow bed to feed/filter some 90mm pipe (to be on back wall) and back to the tank ....

and another growbed up top for salad stuff (pickable from landing) and to filter a run or two of 90mm pipe feeding back to growbed underneath ...

Love the idea of having a grow-bed that can be harvested from the landing. How far is it from the kitchen Rupert.

That just dont sound right when verbalized.
Nice set up Rup, In real life for me the blue barrels have a tendency(sp) to bow a bit in the center when filled with gravel, so id recommend giving them a test incase you end up needing more support along the sides. Great use of space.

AM, Chinese "Nightingale" bilge pump - 12v 50w, stainless impeller, saltwater proof, marine, continuous rated, 4mtr head, 70ltr/min....

Performance curve suggests rating of 50ltr/min @ 2metres head, which is probably the max I have to go...

Single pump at this stage, probably to a couple of header tanks...

Lay of the land and the design means everything can basically gravity drain....

Original intention and maybe implemented later was to use a mega-bin under stairs and the gal tank as a sump...

What do you reckon about the pros and cons of that idea as opposed to what I currently intend...

Anyone have any concerns about the pump or it's ability to do what I envisage???
