Some aquaponics food makers have formulas for different kinds of fish, but not for goldfish.

For example, Skrettle has:
-Fry
-Trout
-Pond LE
-Starter crumble

I think I saw a Koi formula at another popular AP food provider.

Which of those formulas would be best to use for goldfish?

fry means for very young fish, it's higher protein (usually more than 50%)
trout is a "gamefish" and gets high protein, usually around 45-47%
not sure about LE
starter crumble is "first food"

for koi, you want the same food as for catfish or bluegill, usually 35-37% protein

Thanks Keith.

At premiumfishfood.com, they have the following formulas:
-yellow perch
-bluegill
-catfish
-tilapia

Could you guess which of those (if any) you think would be best for goldfish?

I prefer to order online, but it's hard to find a place that offers smaller quantities. I really don't need/want a 40-50lb bag of fish food for 10 baby goldfish. That's why I'm thinking about ordering from premiumfishfood.com, because then I can just get a 10lb bag.

Other options for gold fish food include live food such as brine shrimp, cultured redworm, snails daphnia, mosquito larvae, midge fly larvae and blackworms.
