Anyone can explain the active aqua venturi option? Had a working syphon and changed for 3/4" with venturi and now is not breaking syphon and not seeing air getting in...

Not sure what you mean Pershing... a venturi would normally go on the outlet... and shouldn't upset your siphon...

The reason I think affected the syphon is because I had 1/2" and had to switch to 3/4" since the venturi adapter is bigger and required thicker hose. I have set it to the lowest setting and I think too much water is coming in. I might need to revert some of the flow to the FT. Thoughts? What about the venturi? Worth the effort?

Well, I reverted the changes. Went back to the standard 1/2" and the syphon started working. Venturi never draw air and the pump instructions sucked. Here are some pics of the setup before I backed out of it...

Need better photos... are you sucking water INTO the FT with the pump? Or pushing it INTO a tube into the GB? Is that grey tube pushing water into the white tube going into the media?

If that's the case.. and it appears to be... then yep... it would definitely change the flow... and upset the siphon...

There is a 3/4" clear tube taking water to the GB from the FT. There is a 1/4" airline coming from the base of the pump adapter to the venturi plug shown on the top of the GB. This is supposed to suck air into the pump water outlet. This did not seem to work at all. Not only that the diameter change in the hose messed up my syphon. So, im not sure if I did something wrong or the venturi plug is broken? I have no idea. Anyone sucessfully setup one of these?

Not like that... I have a Venturi on my inlet to my raft. It adds some air to the water, but I mostly leave it in because with it the flow into the raft is nice and balanced, if I remove it, it might not be. Avoid clear tubing, algae will grow in it.

Agree with the clear, as I stated this is a proof concept and grabbed what I could find. Any ideas as to how to tune the venturi? One side has a screw valve and the other had what seemed like a small air hole with rotating plug. I changed it all up with nothing changing. If I kept it above the water level it sould just have water up to the water level, if I brought it bellow water would fill it all. I really think this thing is busted... If I blow i to the tube directly you can see the air going into the tube.
