I only have one in my head. We're emigrating sometime in the next 18months so I know anything I do will be left behind. So I haven't started anything. Once moved to our destination I will get a small learning system going quite soon.

great looking set up there Gazza. very nice plant growth. the old bed frames and stuff work well by the looks of things.

Just out of curiosity what brand of pellets are you feeding the fish and do you use any suppliments, minerals etc.

Thanks Freddy! I use the BYAP pellets, 5mm at the moment cos those trout are pretty hungry. I put in a capfull of seasol maybe once a month or so and a little chelated iron every few months.

Cheers, it works a treat, although I don't recommend using staples as a sewing material. Mk II I will take a bit more time and sew the joints properly. The hardest part was getting the holes at the bottom the right size so the fish couldn't slip through, but you could still drag the net fast enough to catch one!

Zip ties wiggle through shade net easily. The wire you used and twisted?

Zip ties would be perfect!. Yep the wire is 6mm galv rod, often used to tie brick walls together.
