I have finally got my A into G and got my tank and yabbies (at this stage) sort of up and running in a trial run.
I am still waiting for my 1200l x2 grow beds to get here (ordered 30th Jan) they must have had mine the iron ore, send it to china to get refined bring it back, then make the mold for the tank, then make the tank, it has been a bit of a saga.
ATM I have set up a simple continus flow system, with a bit of luck it should keep up with 50 odd yabbies and 8 no 7 no 6 goldfish ( the yabbies are eating my goldfish).

Looks like a leak at your bung there!!!!!!!

Is that a hammock in the rafters - if so, shouldn't it be slung across the fish tank, float your drinks whilst laying back reading a book.

When you have the GB in, you can move it so that you can have a salad with the drink.

Bug zapper needs to be placed over tank also - auto feeder.

Looks a nice setup Lefty

Yeh, the bung does leak, but only when it has water in it.

I have a very similar tub as my big growbeds, also leaked when first filled, a quick tweak and no worries. Nice simple system Lefty, sweet

Might not even need to tweak. My leaks went away after several weeks. Biofilm seems to have done the trick. In the mean time it was the automatic waterer for the dog.

Joel try Here....

Under "Pots and Baskets" > "Hanging Baskets" > "Self Watering Stack-A-Pots" or "Stack-A-Pots"

Also their 8 pot "Aquamiser Home Propagating Kit" sounds similar to the Auto-Pot idea although they stock that system also...

It is a great place, a little windy sometimes, but we don't usally get the extremes of temps, yesterday it was only around 37c under the patio and water temp only got upto 23c.

I have had the odd cold one contemplating the system ;-)

EB the pots came from a local garden shop.

If anyone else wanted to use the same pots, I would seal all the center drain holes (20/20 hind sight) as the water just flows straight through not keeping the garvel damp in the lower pots.
