sickening weather we have. 42 again tomorrow yay.

coming home on the bus today while cooking in the heat, i expected to find my marron fried. to my surprise all i could see were still ok.

i'm surprised how well my system is keeping in the heat. i don't have a thermometer atm but the water is cool to touch. i suspect this is because the tanks are buried well. the plants however are struggling as they are young and don't have very well established roots.

i really look forward to winter. i may actually be able to work on the system without frying.

I was out walking about in that -17C, telling the workmen what flower beds to tidy up and so on. (They'll come back next week.) That wind just sucks the life out of you! My nose hair didn't freeze, though. Hmmm, maybe I just wasn't breathing.

Polartec and Down. Mmmmm.

I must admit, I think I'd rather suffer through the odd 40+ day, than have snow..

I must admit 42 Degrees (107 F) and zero humidity is bearable. Tomorrow it is forecast for 35 and humid. The dry heat warms everything up, but the humidity is the killer.

It is amazing hearing the weather from around the globe. Having a difference in temperature of almost 60 degrees is crazy.
