WOW! Seems like lots of us from this area. I'm looking to be part of a group involved in aquaponics and plants in general. I have much to learn. This (and my intro) are my first foray into this world! Look forwarding to meeting you guys. Sincerely, Tina

Hi all. My friend and I have been attempting aquaponics here in Edgewood for the last two years. We have a 4 by 8 by 1 ft grow bed pump, tank etc. The first year we got up and going we found we had bad rock and stopped after things started going hay wire. Last year we reloaded with better rock but ran into problems with the water due to the high calcium content in the water here. We are working on trying to fix the water problem this year. If anyone is interested in talking about problems or solutions to problems, I would be glad to share what we have learned. Let me know if I can help.

I'm down in Socorro NM. Had a larger system but moved, now I'm running a 60 gallon ft, 2 30 gallon grow beds and a sump tank in my sunroom.

A friend here in Socorro just finished his system. 330 gallon ibc and 12 half barrel growbeds w/sump tank in a greenhouse.
