i'm still debating what i'm going to do this coming fall/winter....if i go with trout, i'm not going to worry about over-insulating.. if i get another batch of yp and tilapia, i'll do some sealing up the area..
took lots of pics lately so i guess it's time to catch up
the growbeds before finishing cleanup, from early april

chipping away at all the work to do on the system, i re-did the growbed inlets into a single spot dump, instead of branching into 2 outlets.. into a partially burried ag tube (a 6" length of 4").. adding gravel to the growbeds has reduced the fungus gnat population, and now that it's starting to turn green again, i'll be ordering some nematodes and ladybugs soon
enough chit chat, new pics from today.. growbeds looking much better

i harvested some duckweed from two of my crayfish tanks to feed to the tilapia in the pool, i can get this much a couple times a week between 7 duckweed/crayfish tanks - catch a bunch of scuds with the duckweed too.. they eat this in less than 24 hours
