Awesome! Did you procure you pumpkinseed perch with a hook? Or did you actually purchase them. I was thinking of doing the same or using catfish. I have a 330 gallon FT and then 2 150 gallon sumps that I plan to have linked together that I will grow crayfish in. All in a green house. Undecided about grow beds but I will probably be building those as I want to max out the space

Are you buying it by the bag, or in bulk? Usually you pay about 100 dollars for what is supposed to be a cubic yard at a landscape supply place. (they usually short you some, but it is still cheaper than buying bags)

Hi RobD,

Really nice work. I was wondering where the pipe that is diverting from the sump to the FT is going? Sorry if I missed it in an earlier post.

i have my main 2" going from sump to fish tank. then at the fish tank it splits, 50% into fish tank, 50% back to sump tank because my pump is a bit big :)

so since my FT has the pockets at the bottom, i worry about stuff collecting in there and not getting into the "swirl". so, i was think about making a square pvc pipe with angled nozzles pointing into the poickets to get the material up and out..

good? bad?
