Apparently a few smaller garden centers have been driven out of business because people are a little leery of the frequent stake outs and being questioned by police if they purchase hydroponics equipment.

god cops are idiots, what a waste of money.

What a total waste of our tax dollars. When will police stop this stupidity and focus on violent criminals who are commonly released for "good behavior" because our jails are stuffed with poor folks doing drugs.

No kidding. I am not into legalization but I have a hard time getting too upset about marijuana. But regardless, a perfectly legal activity like shopping at a garden center to grow a tomato plant shouldn't arouse the suspicion of police.

I've heard marijuana use causes the munchies. Maybe they should stake out the snack food aisle, too.
