My ammonia levels are zero but my nitrites and nitrates are both 80 ppm!!! Had a few fish die!! My ph is 8.2 ... I have 40 cubic feet of growbed on a bell siphon system. I also have a trashcan converted into a solid removal/bio filter .. That drains into the grow bed. I have approx 25 pounds of tilapia and 180 gallons of water!!! Help please!!!

How do you know that your nitrites are 80???

Have you salted to mitigate against nitrite poisoning?
