Excellent work that's usually what I do in my soil garden. I love it when 6 months later a seedling pops up because it just knows that its the right season to grow like its mum. I have some purple sprouting broccoli that come up when they know its their time. So cute.

Cute Broccoli hey

I havent grown any of those yet :funny1:

They are the best! Slight nutty flavour and one plant would do me for the family for months, although I don't complain when there's more. Bit like broccolini but prettier and way less expensive...

I have not had any luck putting rock wool directly in the bed, It seems to hold too much water next to the seed. I have had much better results throwing seeds into hydroton which doesnt hold seed well at all. Now my systems are expanded shale wwhich is pea sized and holds seeds very well.

My lettuce seeds are just beginning. They would usually only take a couple if days in the soil for me. I wonder if the average temp is lower with AP and that's what takes a little longer.
