Ha! that seat along the wall reminds me of the fish foot spa's in indonesia.
You could get some of those skin eating fish and relax with your feet in the water :)

Take a barrel and clamp it on a narrow bench, then take another in your arms and, from the side, running REALLY fast... :D

I think you've got yourself a small business opportunity Nat - Those barrel systems are excellent AND expandable from a balcony to a larger area. You could use several of them to run different fish and/or environments within a normal backyard area and even use a small greenhouse to keep a warm FT/GB during winter.

Brilliant work... :wav:

*grins* Yeah I figured it wouldn't be my suggestion, but the mental image was just too funny not to post - Wile E Coy... um... Nat, using the Acme barrel melder kit, prepares his Road Runner trap...

This is just an idea of why you might want one barrel inside the other. I just did it cos i always wanted to know if i can get one barrel through another one lol

is that stencil available as a pdf (i.e. have you scanned it) or is it proprietary.

I reckon it would be a handy addition to the AP arsenal of those of us considering adding barrels to our systems ...

Am I correct in assuming you have a cutout in the upper side of the horizontal barrel but not in the lower side and so your FT space is an upside down T?

Or have you sealed that join and so have a + shaped water space? I seem to recall you use a soldering iron to run seals? Is that still the case or do you have a heat gun?

Also is the stencil used twice (curve up and curve down) to make the barrel hole or do you have something else for doing full circles?
