Don't do that Jaymie - Reets wears it like a badge of honour.

Steve - like the system - very tidy. I am jealous of you guys down there who are getting these big fish for your systems.

VB, when your fish mature to plate size you will be smileing! Unlike me, you have a great looking Growbed which works a treat!

Steve & Ange!!!

Glad to hear you back from a hopefully 'productive' honeymoon. :D

Steve, the AP god in mortal form, told me about your system today and has talked me into setting one up in Toronto (I'm moving in 2 months  ).

Very soon I will start pestering people about pipes, pumps, plants and er phish... but for my first post, I wanted to say congrats!!

The system looks fantastic! great use of space. Who's idea was it to run the plants around the fence?

I'm going to try and get down in the week (if you're available) and check it out, say howdy, drink your coffee, stare at your fish.

Dave!!

Doesn't work that great at present AM. Full sun and 34 degree days mean that the plants are spending a lot of energy dealing with the UV. Am looking forward to one day having grow-beds in a shadehouse of some type. Am not far from plate size now though. A few weeks and I reckon I'll look at eating one of the bigger fish.

Sorry for the hijack guys.

Will do, Steve!

Since Steve (The part fish, part plant, all Macgyver one) put the ideas back in my head, all night I couldn't stop thinking about AP. I even spent all night dreaming about fish and plants and missing connecting flights.
Damn you, steve!!
I've sifted through some of the posts and found some good smaller (more humble) indoor setups I might openly steal the plans for, copy and claim as my own design. ... now to convince Beth it's a good idea...

I'll try and get down tomorrow or Wednesday, if you're free.
BTW, What fish are you using in there? Silver Perch?
Are you using fish food or an algea based method?
