was just looking at the fish and i noticed red eyes is that normal???
and its getting me worried because ive lost quite a few before and i think that might be the problem.

Granted this is my experience with a lot of native fish to Central Florida, USA, but some species around here have some red in their eyes. I've caught some species of fish that usually don't have any red in their eyes, but sometimes they do. I think thats because they're hybrids. What kind of fish do you have?

I often notice red eyes in our bathroom mirror. Comes and goes, more so on the week ends. :dontknow:

I wouldn't isolate it to Queensland... Id generalise it to the entire east coast. Bunch o' red eyes lol

Also happens alot in Western Australia. Never around Jandakot because they built them tough around there!
