No more trout orders for the BYAP pick up day thanks.
For those that have orders in the price of fish will be $2.30 ea with no delivery charges.
Dont forget to bring your esky's & about 1/4 full of your tank water and some good form of aeration.

I tried to do that this year Charlie but the prolonged xmas/new year heatwave put an end to that.

The temp in my tank which sits in the greenhouse hasn't been under 24 degrees and naturally is more at daytime. Tried to reduce temp with 20 liter frozen water in milk bottles..............it just came down 0.4 for a short while (650ltr FT)
Now I am filling every available and suitable pot with water to freeze.
I am nervous, this is my first time, no experience with fish whatsoever............ :dontknow:

Will the little creatures be ok???????????

And how big should the Esky be????? I've ordered 25 trouts.

Nervous, nervous, nervous.........................

Sorry Gran, I would like to tell you what you want to hear. Unfortunately trout will not survive your current temps. Stay calm next week things will be differwnt from what I've seen of the forecasts.

if i need to travel the fish 20min will they require an air source?? or will like say 50 litres of water do?

If they require an airsource can someone recommend me and airpump that i can run inside my car? im imagining a couple of batteries will run it long enough (i dont have cigarette power point currently as its blowing fuses)...

Troutman do you supply enough water for the fish to survive or should i bring my own from my tank etc??

thanks.
