Its the most common problem with tomatoes and the answer is high heat. Tomatoes will not set fruit in temps above 30C. All you can do is try to manually pollinate them with an electric toothbrush, early in the morning. Or grow cherry tomatoes that set fruit anywhere

whats the temp for pollination and whats the temp for ripening?

Also does potash have something to do with the process of setting flowers?

depending how old is your system, phosporous and calcium will be the most needed to be supplemented in the case you have a young system (less than a year)

If you want to skip the electric tooth brush, you can first try shaking the plant vigorously, or holding a flower cluster near the base of its stem, then flicking the flower head.

Thanks for your feedback it is still around 32 degrees here so that could be the problem the system is only 8 weeks old might have to look for different varieties for this heat thanks again

Cherry and Roma types set fruit a lot easier than large fruited types. Maybe ask around up there as to what varieties are grown there

calcium would be my thought

the shells from a dozen eggs for each plant will fix that

that's dug in at the hole before planting

hmm....that's a dirt rule, I'm assuming the same applies. could be wrong

so apparently I have no clue, seems the norm
