grow bed 270 liters in melbourne

I purchased a smaller one of these from this seller last week. I think he said he actually has a couple of these 270 l ones in beige at this price. He is selling them cheap because they have turned out to be a non preferred colour as a pond.

I know where you can get those - try the armed forces - they have to replace them every now and then in their towers. Paffoh got some for a slab of beer :)

I asked why he was selling it...

Yes the solar panels are still under warranty, sharp offers a 25 year warranty, these solar panels were part of the solar park project that commenced in 2010. The solar park project was scrapped 6 months later. So the panels still would have 22 year working warranty

Check that warranty paper. Often only warranty to the original buyer!

Regarding the Sharp solar panels..

I rang Sharp and they said the Warranty isn't transferable from a private sale, but possibly if it was a store specialising in solar... the impression was they don't know for sure either way.

The warranty doc isn't so clear to me: http://www.energymatters.com.au/images/sharp/25%20Year%20Limited%20Warranty%20Statement.pdf

I'm going to just take my chances and buy some. Is there a good way to test the panels when I go to pick them up?

I will post when I have them.

The panels test up to spec. Most have some permanent discolouration that looks a little like condensation, but only the size of a 50c piece. The sides are covered in dirt and they were probably not handled correctly, but I think its worth the savings.
