Are you human?: most of the time...

Hello ap people of the world :wave1:

So I have just joined up to the forum which is the next step in years of talking about doing this, Too doing this.
All my life I have had gardens and aquariums but currently have neither and feel my family and I are missing out. So my next step will be setting up an IBC to start with. Then next year when we move up to the sunshine coast and I am no longer working away from home I am going to go ape poopies with designs and feed the world!!!

Ok so just my family and perhaps some other locales. And in advance I would like to thank all those who share there knowledge and trial an errors on this forum. Just spent the last hour and a half learning about maggot breeding.WOW my missus is going to love hearing about this.

Anyway this is a great site and what I feel is definitely the future to backyard gardening.

Peace to all Pirate.

You, the family, and the fish will love the Sunny Coast area. And I'm sure there are more bloody pirates here per capita than any where else in Ausie. so youl fit right in.

Cheers back ccBear. And the area we are looking at will be Tewantin or there abouts. So I have not started my ap yet but have had aquaria all my life and gardened to a degree all my life also and to cut it short my wife and I are looking at going commercial ap with in a few years. Yeah good luck I hear people say and to that i say yes good luck and good food. Something of which we are lacking in this world at present and it is our belief that there is going to be a strong market for top quality produce in the future( ok NOW). As a kid we , my family ie dad and i had cattle and tried making a life of it but it was to much and about fifteen years ago our market in oz died in the arse and dad threw in the towel. After a long time of not getting ahead that is. Anyway my point is I want to be a farmer again and feed as many people top shelf foood for as long as I can so fish and fruit/veg is our future. SO any help from any sources you guys know of for commercial setting up from plumbing tips to council headaches would love to hear from YOU :thumbright:

Do not know any requirements for council, and I would suggest you start a family system first and get the experience. Cheers
