Hi everyone
i have questions regarding about romaine lettuce.

1. When is the best time for transplanting a baby lettuce?

2. What is the best method for seed germination? ( i just use wet paper toil and cover them)

3. Do you guys put other nutrients solution into the water for the plants?

like
Macronutrients:
*Phosphorus *Potassium *Calcium *Magnesium *Sulfur

Micronutrients:
*Boron *Copper *Iron *Manganese *Molybdenum *Zinc

4. would these extra solutions in the water have a side effect on the fish, and the bacteria in the filter?

Thanks

1. For most varieties of plants I wait till they have an established root zone before transplanting with a reasonable size on them.

2. I use a propergator with seedling mix and water from AP. Sometimes sow directly into the GB.

3. Formulated aquaculture feed provides most of the trace elements and nutrient required for plant uptake. Seasol, maxicrop are a good for suppliment and usually most systems require an iron addition via something like chelated iron.
