Dropped a few Silver Perch fingerlings up to Sydney today...

Rup,

take a look at the Aust museum paper which I have hopefully linked below. It is a review of all the Euastacus spp in NSW, with distrubation maps and keys. Without knowning more location details, belive it to be either E. australensis or E.spinifer.

Yep... I'd basically narrowed it down to those two.... but couldn't decide...

Agree it is unusual but hey, Ive found Marron in Kalgoorlie and they are definitely not supposed to be here. I actually worked out last week that the species I have found here is actually the hairy marron variety... which are almost extinct. Strange world.
