While the title may be a little bit of an exaggeration I just wanted to get your attention

Sorry about that. Anyway in the mail today we received some copies of "The Journey" a lifestyler newspaper that is printed quarterly for National Lifestyle Villages. The papers were distributed this year free at the Caravan and camping show. Some of you may remember that the Vibe Lifestyle village at Baldivis was awarded a grant by the Lotteries Commission to install two Backyard Aquaponic systems, see here for further details viewtopic.php?f=34&t=10782&hilit=vibe
Recently I received an email from the marketing person for the Lifestyle Villages, Berlinda, who thought it may be of interest to have an article about small systems for their publication, to my delight we received a full page about aquaponics and the balcony systems with a couple of photos, one taken by Berlinda and the other was taken here by us.

Brilliant work there Faye!

I've got a couple (one of them is in Mrs Nebbian's mother's group) coming over on Saturday with the express intention of picking my brains about aquaponics...

and the other day I stopped for a chat with some guy out the front of his place, and he's getting one of your systems delivered soon! This idea is just growing and growing. It must tap a primal instinct or something.

Hopefully articles like this will make people realise that they really want to be outside growing food instead of inside eating it.

Are you going to serve them up some AP produce Nebbian? Barramundi nuggets dipped in egg and breadcrumbs perhaps, all homegrown. It's funny jusyt how many people do know about aquaponics now a days. My friends and family all thought I was a bit crazy, now they just know I am. Six years ago eveyone that walked through the door of our shop was looking for something else, lost or wanted the old nursery, I would lead them out the back, come with me (I'd say) and they would take one look and say wow! Then I would explain how it all worked. One guy came to buy a watering can, when he left, $2000-00 later, he went with a Courtyard system. (What a good sales girl am I?) I just told him that he wouldn't really need a watering can again. (I do wonder what his wife said though) It actually sells itself and thats why people keep coming back, building more and bigger systems and why much of our business is word of mouth, because they have a friend that told them what it was all about.
