So yesterday and today have been big cleanup days - as I mentioned elsewhere, we're planning to move to another country so I want to get my system neat and tidy so that a house sitter can deal with things.

So I've spent several hours grubbing around under our house putting in pipes, cat5, various heavier duty cabling and digging trenches. Slightly less comfortable than 15 hours in cattle class on a 747.

I've designed the system so that I can move water in a multitude of different grades:
* 450kPa town water
* 2-30kPa tank water
* 250kPa town + tank water
* 30kPa fish tank water
* 300kPa fish tank water
* shower and bath greywater
* laundry greywater
each of which has different handling characteristics. All handled with polypipe, except the shower + bath water, which is done with a short length of 50mm PVC followed by a length of unslotted ag pipe.

And it's all neat at least (aeldric will attest that my old distribution system could be best described as a black plastic small intestine).

Still no problems with the smartvalves - they have been working flawlessly for a month now.

VIRGO (August 23 - Sept. 22)

Manners are for rebels. That's why I love me a Virgo. Ya'll have manners but in the STRANGEST and loveliest ways. For example, you can always count on a Virgo to have an opinion. And share it. But a Virgo opinion isn't a character assassination, it's merely fact and logic formed with interest. Ya'll manage to say things that others could never get away with because your manners are on the inside, closest to the heart, and you never desire to hurt folks or drag 'em down. Some signs could take a lesson in this department though I will try to mind my manners and not mention which ones. Interestingly enough, your candor and honesty (which is almost always spot-on) can make people think you have no soft spots of your own. But your ability to see into others with a new light is second to your ability to be wounded deeply by those who can't see you clearly at all. Try to offer forth a little patience with these characters. Not everyone will understand you because you are unique, and different from them, and it might take a while for that to shine out. It's not personal. And they'll get some manners of their own, eventually.

From http://www.crazyauntpurl.com/archives/2007/03/march_2007_horo.php. Of course, astrology has very little predictive power and is almost certainly complete rubbish.

seeing as you should almost be DEAD according to your posted birth date, I am assuming that you are a virgo in the real world - if not then I have no idea (nor has anybody else for that matter) why you posted that ... I honestly thought that a post on your system would be what I would find, or news on where you have definately decided to go - just a little confused about the whole starsign thing out of the blue there:? :? :?
