Hey mantis I love your laserlite hoop shelter... how'd you attache the laser to the polypipes though? I mean you're bending it over like a tunnel ?

Mate came around and helped my net out 6 more silvers. Now as far as I can see there are only 2 silvers left in there, so it will soon be a catfish only system. Biggest was only 650g
Hoping the cats will grow better with no silvers in there

Fileted the three bigger ones plus my left thumb and just gutted and gilled and scaled the smaller three so recipe options open.
My sister is coming out of hossy tomorrow after breast cancer surgery and will go stay with my old mum. Her son is coming up from Melbourne for a week to look after the both of them, so they will get most of the fish
Will keep one of the whole ones to do aka ColinW style for sure :thumbright:

Best wishes for the family mate. Just going through some similar issues with some extended family at the moment too. Its hard on everyone so I feel your pain.

On a lighter note, I was talking to one of our supply people at work today (store person) and they said that they had just come back from Horsham from a big speedway clash. Aparently the speedway gets pretty big around your way with truck racing and all sorts. Cool stuff.

Crikey from all the way over there. Yeah they built a speedway track at Kalkee about 12km north up the blue ribbon road (local stuff). It seems to be very popular but not my thing
