Looking at satellite photos to see how big my old garden is. It looks like I can get 1 IBC and 6 barrels down one side. This is just ideas for next year :D The black dots on the ground are trees. I will put up a picture tomorrow of the site in question.

Did a few things today with the aquaponics system. Removed the Channel catfish he/she is in the turtle tank now. I tried several things to improve water cloudyness, but removed/replaced 10gallons(38L) one day and 15gallons(57L) today. I can see the 2 goldfish today.

Finally picked the pepper. Have not touched the basil. A few of the pepper plants have wilted leaves, but new flowers are starting to bud/bloom. The catfish has grown and is around 250g just going by feel from tank to tank. This one gets to live as a pet in my fish tank.

Nothing really new going on other then I am getting new flowers on the pepper plants.

Catfish is in the other tank doing well. Turtle is leaving it alone and slightly terrified of it.

The basil is a bit limp after removing the catfish it from the AP system happened the same way with removing the turtle months ago. Worms have done well to get the solids out of the bottom of the GB. The sides of the tank look like crap(literally) and water still cloudy. :dontknow:

Don't scrub the sides of the tank, the bioslime is important, it is where the nitrification happens, and it is healthier for the fish. The world they usually live in is covered in the stuff.

I just did the front and the side. The back is caked with it. This is in my family room and I want it to look somewhat nice.

Photo update of how plants are doing.

Catnip is doing great, but cat does not look like she cares for it. :(

Maybe you need to dry it before the cat goes crackhead on it. I just noticed your "Are you Human?" response. Were you thinking 5th Element when you put that there? I know I did. :headbang:

Another forum site I joined a few years ago had it as the real correct response to join in the registering part. 5th Element was a good movie but I love that line.

Question - "Are you classified as human?" Negative, I am a meat Popsicle

If you did not get the meaning then your account was not activated right away if you used Yes as the answer.

I put the catnip outside in a large pot. Looks like it did not like that at all.

It bushiness has wilted to almost dead plants. While I was removing it from the pot that it came in cause it to lose almost half the root length. Might have been the temperature shock and the damaged roots. Going from around 67*F inside to mid to high 40*F outside with lows in the mid 30*F.

Kitty never cared much for it dry or fresh, but I could have tried it as a tea. GB now has one large basil plant in it and a few small ones growing. I am going to leave the mint alone eventhough I am seeing some long runners along the side of the GB.

Just stumbled upon your thread Rob. Looks like things are coming along. For aquariums, I personally like Marineland Magnum 350 canister filters. They have been around for ages, replacement parts are easy to find and cheap and they allow for lots of custom media ideas inside.
