Is there a DIY design for a biopod that basically requires you to put in food scraps(not fussed about housefly or BSF, either will do) and collect the maggots/larvae without having to stuff around moving hoses and the like on the inside?

Most of the DIY designs I've seen need you to move a pvc hose otherwise you end up with the entry hole buried in food scraps.

I want to set something up to make use of old food that would normally just go in the garbage but I don't want to have to stuff with it other than to maybe give it a monthly cleanout.

I am very time poor and lazy.

You can build a ramp going around the inside of the biopod to the top instead of a hose.

Kind of like this unit:

Build one out of rectangular plastic box's and just put a ramp down the sides. Trap does not have to be round.
