Hey Guys and Girls!

At last I have got my butt into gear and got the photos that I promised you all.

Currently the system is relatively basic, with approx 200 - 250L between the Fish Tank and Sump. I have 6 small goldfish and am feeding them a pond feed, so it has more protein etc. It is only about 2-3 weeks old depending on when you consider it "started".

The system at the moment I believe is still a bit unstable in regards to the nitrogen cycle as I have only seen the ammonia bobbing up and down between 0 and .25 ppm but no spike in Nitrites or Nitrates.

Currently have a few seedlings growing ever so slowly and the Basil and Strawberries were bought at about half the size they are now. The cucumbers at the back seem to be doing the best out of my seedlings.

I will add descriptions to the photos if you like, but I have to run at the moment! I would like to makea video walk around aswell.

Plans are to add a Floating Raft/DWC very shortly, I have all the parts, but not the time!

Cheers!

Can someone tell me what the deal with the brown edges are? I thought it might be over watering?

Great little system :thumbleft:

Interesting bell design. Your plants look very healthy. Is that a aquaone 4000 I see in the background? Unfortunately they are a real pooper of an aerator. Ive had a couple and the flapper valves dont last and $45 ea to replace. Theres a thread somewhere about them here.

Great to see you up and going, you location looks wonderful :thumbleft:

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the welcome.

Charlie, I actually forget what the Air pump is, but I know it wasn't the Aquaone brand.

I actually JUST completed my addition of the DWC/Floating Raft and have planted out some seedlings in it. I will do a bit of a tidy and get some photos of the addition.

Anyone know what the deal with the edges of my strawberry leaves browning is?
