What's the best & safest way to get rid of Mealy Bugs from a growbed?

Flood the beds, hose them off and get rid of the ants, you may have to repeat a couple of times.

Blind Freddie thanks for the prompt reply I'll try that today, so far I've sprayed with soapy water I don't know if that is any help.

If you used lots of soap then I'd be tempted to pull the plants and hose them off away from the bed first then return them to the bed and flood (I can't see the soap being particularly fish friendly). Mealy bugs can get down between leaves and below ground level making them hard to get rid of. I think blind freddies idea makes the best sense. Got any pictures of your mealy bugs? Sometimes people call scale insects mealy bugs but they aren't the same.

Scotty once again thank you for the advice, I'll try both yours and Blind Freddie's methods today. Scotty I have some pictures up later in the day I'm off out for a few hours but as soon as I get back I'll go to work.

Scotty & Blind Freddie I've flooded the growbed but the clay pebble rise to top of the bed and probably wont do much in the way of killing off the little white eggs on the pebbles. I'll try doing the same 2 or 3 times today and see what happens.

I've pull all the seedlings that look like were infected and have got them soaking in a bucket and then I'll hose them off.

It was only 6 or 8 plants that I purchased from Bunning's so I think I'll stick with purchasing seedlings from a proper nursery in the future.
