We Have 5 Tanks 5,000 gals each along with a 7,500 sf greenhouse growing Tomatoes and Lettuce.

What kind of sealer do you use for the brick FT's?

H&R Organics... are you actually organic certified and would you mind explaining how you're filtering such a large system?

Hey that's looks awesome! Would you mind telling me what kind of lights you are using?
And whats the productivity of such a large system?

Its a waterproof concrete sealer, same that you can find at Home Depot.

We only use the lights for working in the green house after dark, we find the tomatoes do better with some down time in the dark overnight.

No we are not certified yet but working on it We use a drum filter and biofilter system.

Thank you, the lights are just regular florescent lights mostly used for us to work at night with not only for the plants. It's still a new system so its hard to say what the numbers are right now. We are looking to add another 7500 sf

Be very careful about using the wording "organic" if you're not certified. I know there can be a HEFTY fine for doing that, up to $10,000 per each unit packaged is last I heard. I'm not sure if that only applies to using the word on the packaging or in the company name as well? I would hate to see such a beautiful operation take a hit, just trying to look out for a fellow grower.

How efficient would you say your operation is? In other words, do you re-introduce excess undissolved solids back into the system after they have been dissolved? Or do you do like a lot of folks and just discard the undissolved solids through filter drainage/cleaning and use them in some sort of regular garden?

It can apply to the company name as well... as it's deemed to infer that the operation is organic...

In AUS, my understanding is you can say "organically grown" or "organic practices used". "Organic" or "Organically Certified" is a different matter
