That weaker immune system is what makes kids dirtier. In my adult life I never was sick as much as I do now with my Little Petri Dish. I lover her, but she is always getting me sick. Not that I would ever keep her in a plastic bubble or anything. The only time I use hand sanitizes is when I am sick, as a favor to others. I was amazed to find that they now have a chicken pox vaccine. When I was a kid, it was called playing with the kid with chicken pox.

:wave1: :wave1: :wave1: Thanks!

Update.....well, we are eating plenty of fish and veggies!! We have been catching perch from the pool, just dropping a line in which is fun! We are just so impressed with how well the veggies grow in the AP system, despite the heat we have had in Perth this summer.

It is pretty busy around here with ducks, turkeys, sheep, rabbits, chooks, orchard and veggie garden as well as the swimming pool and the AP, so don't often get chance to post, but enjoy sharing and learning from everyone in the AP world when we can!!

Netted the first barramundi from the AP for dinner last night.......there are a range of sizes even though they were all much the same when they went in.

We bought them from GP as the summer started late and we didn't think we would get fingerlings to plate size in time. Can't actually remember how big they were now but I think they were 10 inches, and this beauty is 15-16 inches long and 747 grams.

There are a few really big ones, and we wondered if they have been hogging most of the food so if we take those out the smaller ones may get chance to feed up before the weather cools too much more???

The Perth weather at the moment is perfect growing weather, so the veggies are producing amazingly. We have been preserving and freezing.......but came to the realisation last night that we probably won't actually get to the stage where we run out!! There just always seems to be a plentiful supply!
