Thanks for providing this great resource

I've recently become intrigued by the idea of aquaponics and just begun my research.

I found this place because I was searching for a specific product that was advertised in an email a couple weeks ago. What intrigued me about it was it talked about someone in Vermont who was using aquaponics.
Since I get cold winters here, too, I wondedred how to do this year round.

My daughter attends a vo-tech and in her curriculum, Natural Resources, they have a working aquaponics system in their greenhouse.

So I look forward to learning here from others and hopefully, I can contribute from my experience once I have some

Thank you.

I have a multi-faceted interest in this as well as small scale farming.
I'm almost 63 and would like to leave my job and supplement my SS income, live a semi-independent,sustainable lifestyle, help my daughter begin a small business.

My dad was a farmer who farmed my granddad's farm which is no longer in the family and grew a substantial portion of our groceries on my little 3 acre tract.

Unfortunately, I should have paid more attention.
What I know is 50 year old knowledge and incomplete.

I have to relearn a lot of this stuff and some of it is trial and error and some is from resources such as this

Good luck blackstone sounds like a noble venture, and you're in with a good crowd here.
