Thanks.... I think ;)
Yeah thinly sliced in a salad is good. Pretty much anytime you have uncooked greens radish is good too.

The SP are doing really well. Eating lots now.
Still no photos/videos. I'm having trouble with getting enough light.
The biggest SP must be getting close to 200mm.
The goldfish are bigger !

Fed the fish this morning and one of the goldfish was swimming upside down and back to front...
I didn't think that was normal so I decided to slice and dice

All the greens are looking good. Don't know what to say about the gold fish.

Its likely your goldfish became constipated and then developed a bacterial gut infection. If you get some frozen baby peas, thaw them and push them out of their skins and feed to the goldfish.
I have heard of epsom salt baths but never tried it.
Pellets are not ideal for goldfish.

I hate possums.
@Sleep sorry for the late reply, but thanks for the info :)

I grew some celery, it went well and I took a few of the bigger stalks for a soup. Now it is all going rotten, anyone know what is going on here ? Is that what celery does?

My GBs are slowly becoming less and less planted because anything I plant get eaten by the damn possums. I hate possums.

I am thinking of making an enclosure around 2 of the GBs from chicken wire.. It is going to be such an incredible pain in the ass because:

-It will catch leaves and dead vines etc awhich will fill it with debris
-It will be a PITA to access the plants from any of the sides
-I have to come up with some sort of door/access flap which will be a monumental PITA
-I will not be able to propery access plants that need spraying with dipel, and so I will have more caterpiller problems
-It will be generally (and specifically) a PITA
-It will look like shit

I hate possums, they have completely stopped my system from becoming productive.
I think I am going to copy this post to the venting corner (just the cranky part).

:upset:

PS: My SP are doing great, getting bigger and looking super healthy (I have no idea what I mean by that, I think I'm making it up)

Mate, what about a motion sensored spotlight?

Set nice and close to your GB's.

Maybe a little Cat urine sprinkled??

I had a garden pond full of fish and the only way to save the remaining few was to do the above.

The ate early 30!.

Trap and kill them. Opossums are easy to trap.

I just read this thread for the first time, and I find myself struck by a few things.

1). I wish I had a dollar for every time I've needed a G-clamp to undo something but haven't realised it.

2). A couple of 20 cent coins work pretty well as a pair of pliers for a sticky U-Bolt on a trailer safety chain. (yeah, that's not actually in this thread, but it's really worth knowing when you're in need, and is the only currency that counts to repay for the G-clamp tip :) )

3). Is it wrong to think that saving a jar of KOH "just in case" makes perfect sense? Price/worth-less :)

4). For anyone that reads this thread that doesn't know, SuperVeg also teaches electronics - one on one - for free, just for the asking. Ask him anything :)

Thanks SuperVeg.
