just because it is a university doesn't mean it is useful.
Yep!... :thumbright:... but probably couldn't be any worse than a particular university over here running a weekend "Introduction to Aquaponics" course, run by two "experts"... one specialising in aquaculture and the other in hydroponics... who, after taking the participants money off them for an "Introduction to Aquaponics" course, repeatedly suggest to the participants over the course of the weekend, that they'd be better off going full aquaculture and/or full hydroponic... and repeatedly run down the concept of aquaponics.

One of the "experts" actually convinced one of the participants, who had been running his own largish aquaponics system at home for over twelve months, to get rid of his grow beds and go full aquaculture, then suggested he buy a number of expensive bio-filters (which proved totally inadequate for the job) for his aquaculture system???... Hello???... The guy did as the "expert" suggested and then when everything went pear shaped the "expert" was nowhere to be seen... the "aquaculture" system has now been brought under control with the use of a couple of large gravel filled bio-filters... hmmm, large gravel filled bio-fiters... what's another name for a large gravel filled bio-filter I wonder?
