I picked mine because you see one, you see more.

I uploaded mine because it is my intended home design if/when we ever get to build it.

I only have an avatar because everyone else has one.

I chose mine because I love crawfish, catching and eating them. Also because The town I live in claims to be the Jambalaya capitol of the world. Our local annual festival has cook-offs in black iron pots cooking over wood fires.

I have been called a bit of a mad scientist by family members and friends. I guess because I get interested and involved in your "not so run of the mill" projects and activities (some people call it thinking outside the box and pioneering). I was just lucky I clicked on one that was not rude and get kicked off the site.
I was thinking of adding a few words to the end of it.

I chose my new one because it sum's me up get up, be a smart ass and get kicked in the nuts again, get up be a smar...................

Just reviving this thread to remind all newbies and those that dont have an avatar that you should get one!

Avatars are the picture, photo, image or emblem under your name for those not sure.

Avatars are a great little way to give us all a visual on what you may be about or maybe something your interested about. It puts a face to the name so to speak.

If you need help with loading up an avatar, or anything else with your profile, feel free to ask any of the mods or admin.

To continue the thread, its obvious my avatar choice is because I like to trap and eat chickens.

Call me dumb, but I can't work out how to add an Avatar

GeoffW, try this:
click on User Control panel at top of page under the Backyard Aquaponics banner
click on Profile under options at left side of panel
click on Edit avatar
This is where it gets a bit tricky
click on Browse... next to Upload from your machine
at this point you need to have an avatar size image, ie 120 x 120 pixels, ready to choose from a folder on your computer
To create an image of this size you could use an application such as Preview, go to the Tools menu and select Adjust Size...
