Hello everyone

Seeking some thoughts on the following floaters! (Bara) - they seem to have caught the plague!

Water readings as follows:

Ph 7.6, Ammonia 0ppm, Nitrite 2.0ppm, Nitrate 5.0ppm.

IBC build with one grow bed (as per Backyard Aquaponics design), air pump and feeding regularly - 3 mths old system

Stop feeding until nitrite is at most 0.25 (or better still 0).

Salt to 3 ppt (3kgs per 1000 litres of water).

+1 , most CERTAINLY salt your water per arbe, and stop feeding.
Was the IBC cleaned out correctly? What did it contain previously?
