Here is my first system located in the greenhouse, the next one will be going in the hothouse next door. The fish tanks are in the shed.
This system runs on one 35 watt pump located in the sump (2 poly drums interconnected) with water exiting the fish tank and growbeds by gravity flow. Have tried a few different methods with the two growbeds on the right being flood and drain and the others being flow through and then directly into the nft pipes. Trying both gravel and expanded clay balls to see how they compare.
Fish tank currently has a few largish Silvers and Trout in it and the whole sysyem has been up and running for around a month now though the photos were taken 10 days ago.

Keep posting progress Trouty.... especially the nft stuff, interested to see how it goes...

OB, you guys were here on the 27th April, thats only about 1 month ago believe it or not. I had only planted the seedlings a couple of days before you got here.
I only have dial up here and it takes forever and a day to open the forum let alone post a picture so that smy excuse for being so slack putting it on the site.

Time for an update. Nothing has changed with the original system though the upgrade is still on the cards and may commence next month. I went thru and cleaned the beds after about 4 yrs of use, some were full of gunk but others were still pretty clean and all were full of worms.
