Hi vic

Another one from Wales. :headbang: the good part South Wales too.
I was born in Bridgend, but moved to Perth with my parents when i was little.
Good to see a few of my countrymen getting involved. :D

Hi Karl, well I'm not a true countryman of yours as I was born in the Northwest of England (Bolton) but I love it here and only go back for parties :) Thanks for the warm welcome! Hi Charlie too, nice setup you have there and exactly what I'm planning to start with though I'm toying with putting a window in my IBC so I can watch the fish, I find fish very relaxing to look at :) I'm watching all the vids I can on youtube and other video sites and taking copious notes and I seriously intend to do this on no money at all if I can get away with it ;)

Oh well won't hold that against you. Ha ha
You have come to the right place for advice for sure. A lot of other " aquaponics" sites out there are just jumping on the band waggon and have no working knowledge or experience.
All the info here is free ( besides the backyard aquaponics magazines, which are a great read too ) and kept up to date. Good luck and keep learning.
Oh and by the way we all love pictures so even before you complete your system post them and people will help you trouble shoot along the way.

I'm sure this is the place to learn Karl... from what I've read the advice seems to check out!

I'm on the move shortly, hopefully to a place with space for a small setup and the right aspect and I'll post piccies as I go for directions, hints and tips :)

In WD's pics on their website would it be possible/feasible to utilise hugelkultur as a means of growing beneath and between the A frames?
