I am not sure what the usual pricing is for these but I noticed these at the Pine Rivers Tip Shop on the weekend. They were marked $25 each. They look near new probably emptied and dumped.

Be cautious and make sure you know how to clean Teknar from them. It is listed as 'environmentally benign' and 'practically non-toxic to animals, insects and humans, but the MSDS (available HERE lists this:
Quote:
If poisoning is suspected, immediately contact a physician, the nearest hospital, or the nearest Poison
Control Centre. Inform them of the complete product name, active ingredient and amount of exposure.
Describe any symptoms and follow the advice given. Symptoms of acute exposure may result in eye,
skin or respiratory tract irritation. A skin sensitization (allergic) reaction may occur in sensitive
individuals.

Ingestion
If victim is fully conscious, give a large quantity of water to drink and induce vomiting. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Eye Contact
Immediately rinse eyes with a large amount of water. Hold eyelids apart to rinse the entire surface of
the eyes and eyelids. Do not apply any medicating agents except on the advice of the physician.

Skin Contact
Wash with plenty of soap and water, including hair and under the fingernails. Do not apply any
medicating agent except on the advise of a physician. Remove contaminated clothing and
decontaminate prior to use.

Inhalation
Move victim from contaminated area to fresh air. Apply artificial respiration if necessary.

Notes to Physician
There is no specific antidote if this product is ingested. Treat symptomatically.

Not wishing to be a doubter but that seems distinctly not non-toxic to me, but maybe they have a very specific definition of toxic? (e.g. doesn't cause green blisters with orange centres in at least 25% of victims )

One of my IBCs had a similar product. I rinsed it well with a pressure hose and then filled it and added 4 litres of hydrocloric acid from pool shop and let it sit for a week. Rinsed it again and filled it with some gold fish I had for a couple more weeks (I was not in a hurry). No deaths . From there I added a little AP water and let it go pea soup green in the sun

The tip shop is here http://www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/general.aspx?id=100998
