This guy has been a favourite for many years - the first track fades into the 2nd on the album, Tarot Suite...

And a memorable moment at the end of a millenium, Mike Oldfield in Berlin...

*grins* If you find the first part a bit 'soft' skip to about 5 minutes in...

Here's a couple of unusual ones - synthesizer music was never a favourite of mine except now and then, and Alan Parsons Project was among the best of those who used it...

Way cool Gazza...

Reminds me a bit of this guy... of course Leo is getting on a bit now but he still has them fingers... :D

Here he is back before the Carpal Tunnel stuff... 1977

And Aussie boy who plays insanely and beautifully...

YOu can pick the good ones because they sound like there's more than one instrument playing.

I reckon this version of 'Throw your Arms Around Me', performed by Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) and Mark Seymour (Hunters and Collectors), is sensational!

As much as I enjoy the music, I particularly like that you can sense the enormous respect that these two have for each other as performers/songwriters.

I hope you enjoy it!

Saw this dude at the Perth chilli festival a couple of years back - I reckon we will be seeing quite a bit more of him in years to come

Some of you might remember this? And no, it's not the karate kid playing - the guy doing that is Stevie ray Vaughan, playing off against Steve Vai.

I've just been blown away successively by Tommy Emmanuel, Funtwo and Mitchell "Fingers' Cullen. Wow, and thank you!

If I had to pick the best guitarist I've ever seen or heard, it would be Tommy. Been a genius since he was a kid. I remember seing a comment on one of his concert videos, "Now THAT's how you make love to a guitar!"

We played his music at our wedding and it wasn't even my choice - the wife heard him and it was instant choice... :D
