I am ready to start my seedings but don't know where to get vermiculite in my area i live in Jimboomba QLD. does anyone know where to get it at or if there is another option.

I've never used vermiculite for seedlings.. Try spreading seed directly onto your bed, you'll be surprised..

Hi RR you can get it in a huge bag, I think 9Kg, from Boral Plasterboard at Browns Plains. ph 38090877. we use it in our wicking bed mixes.

But as Earthbound said, they will readily sprout direct into your GB's.

I was very surprised recently when I let a cos lettuce go to seed and the shook it out over two GB's we now have tiny lettuce coming up all over them. i'll just pull out the excess.
