Ok so a buddy and me have been calling around trying to find a company that uses IBC totes or barrels to use but we are coming up with nothing. I am wondering where some of you all have found to be the best places to ask? Funny enough when I keep calling places for material I get asked whats this for and I tell them its always the same response, "really, why? you know you can grow things in the dirt right?" :upset: Any and all help would be great.

Hi CityRootsFarm, I have been lucky enough to pick up a few from organic farmers, these contained seeweed products or fish emulsion.
Also got a couple from a company the imports the see weed products in bulk then breaks it down into small drums for the home gardener market.

I got my blue barrels from a local soy company called 'pureharvest' for free - 30 of them.

Anywhere that has vinegar or tamari (soy sauce) will have heaps of them.

Try your local sushi distributor or soy milk company or soy sauce etc.

They often have 2-3 types; tamari, vinegar, rice syrup - don't get the rice syrup if you don't like cleaning - comes out with hot water. The tamari and vinegar are easy to clean.
