If the temp of my system continues ti increase I wont have to buy those heaters - that would be a nice save of $40 :)

Temp was at the 46C mark today - good cloud cover all day, and it even rained softly for a few hours... System temp still the same.

It does get colder, but those are the average temps... there have been the odd few days below 10C, but those are the very odd days - we are not called the tropical norh for nothing!... ANd the fish I have stocked my system with are not cold lovers, as soon as you go below 20C, they stop feeding etc!

Temp at 45C - had a lot of vey cool rain and wind - seems to have affected the mulch pile's temperature - system temp holding at 24C.

Compost temp down to 38C... all the rain over the past 2 days seems to have affected the compost heap (too wet perhaps?)... Thinking I will 'turn' the one heap to see if it 'picks up' and generates more heat again!

It will probably initially go even lower after a turn, but then pick up again

hey... where did all them gold fishies come from!!! new feature? Hey, look at me, im a 5 gold fish member

Compost temp a warm 39 today... and it is still VERY wet - so too much water does negatively affect the heat generating ability!
