Tell me about it............. :upset:

I've been contacting support pretty much every single day from Christmas eve until today.. And I've just sent them another one.. Originally it was because of the server shutting down completely with errors, Apache was crashing and it was down for hours at a time around christmas.. Since then, every day they seem to change something and hope for the best...

Always changing some setting or installing monitoring software, or updating something... Yesterday it was:

Looking over the logs we do see that your server was hitting limits this would appear due to the limits being set lower then they should have been. At this time I have corrected the shared kernel memory of your VPS along with the setting for your number of files that can be opened.

Please let us know if you have any questions we will gladly assist.

Sooner or later things will have to get sorted... :dontknow:

Hmmm, so today they have:

As the logs do show that you are getting some FastCGI errors which is due to FastCGI is known to consume a large amount of memory compared the default PHP handler. I did modify the FastCGI settings at this time. Which will allow memory usage to be lower then they were.

Error seems to be getting worse as the day goes by.... if the IT guys don't know what they're doing... then they shouldn't bloody mess with the thing...

I bet their ultimate solution wil be... to reboot it...

Sounds like they don't have a clue or have a clue and are just stalling till they can get it fixed. Hope it turns around soon.
