I'm Rob and i hail from the North Carolina part of the United States. This location is somewhat unusual because we have extremely soft water, hot summers, and mild winters.
I'm in the middle of a backyard permaculture overhaul. Thus far i have dug a firepit and paved a patio around it with ceramic tiles. I've also dug out a few hundred cubic feet of red clay which used to be three of my ten raised garden beds. The clay is destined for a pizza oven while the holes in the ground are for aquaculture. I've started a thread linked below and i appreciate any comments-- particularly comments that spare me days of labor and expense if i'm making an error.
