Used to catch them at Dwellingup as a kid. Was a good 25 years ago. I wonder if they are still there?

i'd love to do redfin, they are an awesome fish!!

i had four in a fish tank a while back and they would gladly take live crickets off the surface... it was nuts!!

My intention was to run them in my AP too, ive read a lot about them and they will survive in almost all water conditions, hot, cold, clean, dirty, brackish, fresh and salty. Never caught one but from what i've read fight great and taste better!

Almost all rivers in southwest have them, pest species and is actually illegal to return them to the water regardless of size, oh you'd just have to take them home to the AP!!

My daughter and I braved the cold this morning down at Pemberton. Unfortunately she out fished me again.
Her 1st was 34cm and 2nd went just over 40cm. Guess I'll try again next month.

Spent the last two days fishing / camping down at the Warren river near Pemberton. Cold and wet. Canoeing in >14 deg temps in the pouring rain, heaps of fun....

There's lots of small Rainbows around at the moment which were heaps of fun. The Red fin were a bit light on but got a few in the end. The water temp was quiet cold so I imagine that's why they were off the chew.
